Flirting with life

Being at home for a few days after having caught one of the several viruses that are going on around here I’ve decided to spend more time on my blog and thought that the best way to recharge my batteries and retrieve the lost strength is to travel through my memories to some places that brought me peace of mind and inspiration. Therefore, today’s blog update is about travels and more importantly about remembering them.

Before I started this post I had read a quote by Lisa St Aubin de TeránTravelling is like flirting with life. It’s like saying, I would stay and love you, but I have to go; this is my station” which I can’t agree with more.

In honour of my so far most enchanting destination and conquest :) I uploaded a new custom header picture featuring Isola San Giulio on Lake Orta in North Italy. The other pictures I am showing are also of Lake Orta and some other charming places in North Italy remembering which will hopefully help me relive some of the precious moments on my journeys and, who knows, maybe even inspire you for some of your future travels.

Paula, when I look at these I’m not sure why you would have ever asked for my help. You clearly do not need it! The ones with the tree and the island lit up at night in particular, Wow!
