I wish I could say “Summer’s in the air“, but it is not the case here, not yet. The weather has been wild for the last couple of weeks.
Anyway, I have decided to do another challenge, though Ailsa came up with the same theme just a week ago.
Here I give you a few snapshots of summer the way it is in the Adriatic. I can still recall the smell of the sea, the late summer breeze and the joy that sounds of waves splashing over rocks bring me.
Summer as we know it in Croatia….
Listen to some music as well by clicking this link 14 – Ritmo del mar

Lovely photos, I love the fifth one from the top .. looking over the trees at the sun twinkling on the sea . I can image the sparkle. Thanks for the image you have planted in my mind. (smiles)
Thank you
The last one in the post is my favourite
Lovely Paula. The stone “window” and the two trees with the stone wall are my fav’s of the bunch, but they are all quite nice and summery. Great colors in the rocks in your favorite as well.
Thank you Jeff
I had problems uploading the photos in the order I wanted. It got messed up during the post publishing processs – grrrr, but at least it is here
Love the second one!!!

Gorgeous pictures… That’s it, I’m tired of the rain where I live, I’m saving up my money and buying a plane ticket to somewhere sunny!

Awwwwwww, your beaches look so beautiful and peaceful! It’s too bad summer is almost over…
This too was taken at the end of summer… I waited for beaches to empty. I almost never go to the beach in summer, not in my country… but I get a sudden urge to do it when it is almost over. I like the smell of the sea. In full season I can only smell sun tan lotion
