A few days ago I tried to take some macro shots with a pre-lens for my Canon PowerShot G1 x, and I saw this week’s theme as an opportunity to show them off

Excellent Paula. The spider is really cool, love the bright green on its back. The first is my favorite though. Well done!

Yes, I know about your “thing” for spiders. I adored your fern too
I would have to agree with him. With any wildlife, anything with eyes for that matter, the eyes are what you want to get in focus more than anything else. But as you have found out, nobody told the critters to hold still and pose for the camera.
If I figure out a way to get them to hold still I’ll be sure to let you know

Listened and liked. I especially liked the first half where it was only instrumental. It had a lot of “nature-y” sounds to it, perfect for your nature shots.
