The circle of life is an ongoing process.
Check out the other entries for Jake’s challenge here.
Nice one Paula.:)
Thank you, Yen-Yen
Great photos. We call them “julesvibler”. The smell is so good!
July’s bloom? That explains why it died on me now…..
Jul = christmas…
Beautiful contrasts of colours & juxtaposing ends of circle of life.
Thank you I am glad you like it C.
Ottima riflessione sulla vita….
A perfect composition for On Going.
Thank you, Angeline Finally, my having a black thumb is paying off
Brilliant, Paula! Life is an ongoing process, indeed!
Thank you Amy dear
Very nice against the black background. Did you set this up at home?
I love the quote as well.
Awww, you like my quotes Thank you CG Yes, all these pics with black background are done in my new lightbox
Awesome. Do you mind showing us the set up?
I do, cause it is just a white tent – nothign really pro adn i have no real lights
and I use some makeshift poles to hold lights .. people would make fun of my home-made “studio”
A pretty bloom mate, and an interesting contrast in the 2 pictures too, well done!
Very nicely done!
Fantastic…I love the background.
Thank you, Nancy!
Great choices of images Paula really beautiful concept ,Thanks for sharing my friend
I am grateful to you Jake. Have a nice week!
Very well done! I ready your reply to CG here above, and I, too, have very makeshift set up for these types of pictures
And yes … the circle of life sure is ongoing. «underneath the bitter snow, lies the seed, that with the suns love, in the Spring, becomes the Rose» … how about that
These are lovely lyrics Rebe. Who is the author? I am grateful for your comment Are you happy with your light box?
It’s the song «The Rose» most commonly sung by Bette Midler.
Yeah … most of the times, it works …with small objects.
Again you found excellent music to go with your serene and yet dramatic photos. The circle of life is sacred and beautiful, dear Paula.
It is indeed sacred … you have such a way with words Mar Thank you, dear!
Great take on the theme, Paula. Music is great as usual.
It surely is, Paula. I love the way your photos go from vibrant to total collapse (me on a bad day!)
I like shocking … I am sorry to hear you are having a bad day Jo..
Ah,ah- I meant the hyacinth resembled me on a bad day, but you might be right. I’ve just been cursing my lack of success with technology. Thanks for the sympathy anyway, Paula.
Now, to make things clearer , which hyacinth The one before she felt paula’s black thumb or the one after the treatment?
Afterwards I’m afraid. I was reading about your light box. Clever stuff and it certainly works.
Take care Jo
Yes the circle of life will go on & on… Love the lighting btw
