Weekly Photo Challenge: “THROUGH”

I somehow missed the weekly photo challenge of March 23, but in spite of being late I decided to submit a photo as I could not resist the proposed subject. The picture was taken summer 2011 in a little town Sabbioneta, in the province of Mantua, Lombardy region, northern Italy. It is situated about 30 km north of Parma, not far from the northern bank of the Po River and it was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 2008.

The picture shows La Galleria degli Antichi (“Gallery of the Ancient”).

  2. How the heck did I miss this one?!?! This is AWESOME Paula, I love the lighting, how the image just pulls you right in, and the great texture in the brick. Excellent!

    • 🙂 Again hubby’s camera and tripod :), I just pressed the button :D, but the credits for finding the place, insisting to go there a particular time of the day … all mine :D. Some day I will not be so lazy to carry around a proper camera and lenses…. 🙂

      • Proper is all relative, it’s the results that matter, and you got results to be proud of. Besides, if you can get your husband to carry the camera around why would you want to do it yourself? 😉
