I think it works. The foal appears larger that normal being so close to the camera and prominent in the foreground giving a somewhat warped sense fo perspective.
I really like the fact that the cute horse seems there is more perspective in looking at the photographer than to turn around and look at the horizon behind… ๐ ๐
