Looking for meanings in words, images and sounds
Aaaaaaahhh. Paris. Lovely, as always.
🙂 Yes, I wanted to create an old postcard effect, but I ruined it with my too blue sky 😀 😉
Wonderful! I love the processing. As always, the music is perfect! 😀
I overdid it a bit .. but I had to be nostalgic – agree about the music though. You are a sweetheart Jackie 🙂
I don’t think you overdid it at all! It looks like a vintage postcard. You are too kind – thank you! 🙂
😀 OK you are convincing me :), however a vintage postcard would not have such a dark blue sky.. this is where I went wrong in spite of my better judgement – I did the way I felt… sky is too important to me in photos 😉
Alright I will concede to that point but it’s still a wonderful interpretation of the prompt! You’ve captured nostalgia beautifully. 😀
I am happy you think that Jackie 🙂 and I really appreciate your opinion. Someone was here to rate my photo with three stars, but I will not take their vote as realistic 😀
Yeah “silly” you, it isn’t overdid
– the sky always blue when people like us are visiting Paris… 🙂 😉
‘hahaha’ it was Paula I called “silly”… 🙂 🙂 😉
😀 And I did not shoot you :O 😉
🙂 You are right – silly me 🙂
Done beautifully, Paula! Love the music too!
Thank you sweetheart 🙂
Overdid or not – I really like it… 😉
Much appreciated my dear feathery friend 🙂 xx
Absolutely outstanding Paula!
Now, you have convinced me it is good 🙂 Thank you so much dear Phil 🙂
Beautiful photo and music, Paula. Have a great weekend. 🙂
The nostalgic effect is perfect ,and you created your own post-card,instead of copying some old ones!
At last I could listen to the adorable music: merveilleuse!
Thank you so much Anna. Thinking of you ….
Great picture and I LIKE the blue sky! 🙂
HAPPY weekend! 🙂
Ahh, the most romantic city…wish I can get there someday.
Paulo i znów stworzyłaś piękny klimat… 🙂

And art, you forgot ART 😉 :). Thank you so much, Jalal 🙂
This photo certainly makes me feel nostalgic Paula.
😉 Something tells me you will go there again soon 🙂
I think I will – especially as my husband as well as my children want to go there too 🙂
I’m astounded! I wouldn’t have the faintest idea how to make the sky bluer or less blue, but whatever you did, I like it. 🙂
😀 I am glad. Hope you are well, Jo xo
Paris en jaune – merveilleux!
😀 Je suis tres contente qu’elle te plaise 🙂
Now I am nostalgic for Paris as well and I haven’t even been there yet. 😀 Love the music hon. Made me think of the old black and white movies. 🙂 Great shot and love the effect hon. *big hugs*
PS : Tuesday 6 August 2013 – Week 8 : Texture for the B&W Photo Challenge. What do you think? 😀
Fantastic. Hon, thank you so much for letting me know… This is a great theme for b&w photography 🙂
Glad you like. I’ve added some more themes up to Week 10. Just finished with it. 😀

I really like the treatment. I found myself looking deep into this photo for a couple of minutes, it’s very captivating.
Thank you so much, Mark 🙂
Very vintage! With music to match 😀
Perfectly processed for a “Nostalgia” theme. The music is also a perfect choice. Well done as usuall.
Many thanks, Jeff 🙂
Enough with your Paris nostalgia 🙂
