Such peace in this photo! Lovely!
Thank you very much, Leti 🙂
Thank you LD 🙂
J’aime la composition et les contrastes dans ce beau noir et blanc.
Bon dimanche Paula ! 🙂
Bonne soiree de dimanche Julie 🙂 Merci pour ton gentil commentaire 🙂
Wouldn’t it be nice to take one of those boats out…
It would be dreamy. They were anchored on a gorgeous mountain lake 🙂
Beautiful Paula. The b&w shows off how much the boat has been used. They are not props sitting around to look pretty but have instead brought much joy to people.
Yes, I believe they did especially when I know where I took this shot – on the most beautiful little mountain lake 🙂 Colline, thank you for posting your black and white shot today, I really love it.
This photo says so much… beautiful… could make a story up around this photo…
I would love to read it Rob 🙂

a quiet shot I like 🙂
Have a happy week
It makes me happy to hear you like it. Have a great week Kalusbernd xo
Didn’t you show the full colour version of this before? Maybe it was someone else who had three rowboats in a shot.
I really like this but you, of course, know that I’m a lover of b/w work. I too am drawn to the weathered paint details.
I am happy and surprised that you remember it Allan 🙂 Here it is https://bopaula.wordpress.com/2013/04/16/
I don’t have so much material to post and I like seeing the black and white conversions so many of my b&w shots were published in colour previously 😉
Yes, there it is. The colour version is great but I’m am still more drawn to this monochrome image.
Thank you. I am happy to know that 😀
I found the other shooter who I had seen also captured 3 roawboats:
Thank you, Allan. That shot is awesome!
I was trying to read the boat names but not too successfully. Lovely old boats 🙂
It’s Miky, Lory and Mangart 😀
Thank you! I was close 🙂
Beautiful photo! Three boats waiting in the silence of the mountain lake.
Thank you, Laura 🙂 It was really tranquil…
Great shot! We just came back from a weekend break… I haven’t post the WPC Community yet. Hope you do well, Paula!
Did you have a good time, Amy? 🙂
It was great. We go to see the lights. It was packed with people, very challenging to find a spot to shot photos. Everyone including kids were taking pictures 😀
Nice choice for Black and White Paula, the lake looks like a beautiful place to spend a day.
It was a beautiful three-day retreat last Autumn 🙂
Beautiful in B&W. I love the clear water, and vintage feel to the boats.
🙂 Thank you, Angeline 🙂
I remember the other version! But B&W always fascinates me….
🙂 🙂 Ciao, Anna 🙂
It would have been very nice to be able to get in a boat and row away now. It’s a ncie little trio you’ve captured there. Niky seems to be in best shape.
It is Miky 😀 and it is originally red.. I know that hubby would choose that one to row away. He loves everything red 🙂
Schönes Bild wünsche einen schönen Nachmittag liebe Grüße und Freundschaft. Gislinde
Great one amongst what you’ve shared.one day I’ll do this B&W thinga-majig of yours. 😀 I need time to collect, and find the right timing.
Love this B&W image. Very relaxing indeed. 🙂
Nice composition and rich tones, well done! 😀
Paula, for your Black and White Sunday contributions would you prefer strictly black and white? Or is sepia and split tones OK?
🙂 Everything works with me, Emilio 🙂 I am happy to hear you want to participate 🙂
Thank you, Paula. See you Sunday.
