  1. Always interesting coming here, Paula. Initially I thought you were being suggestive but I remember this rather nice image of yours, and now that I’ve visited the Challenge post I can see where we’re at πŸ™‚ I love mushrooms, though I don’t suppose these are edible.
I have my head full of Paris at the minute but can’t make up my mind where to stay. You were going to recommend me a hotel?
Hope the football isn’t too rowdy tonight! It’s Friday so goodness knows what time they might party till 😦

    • πŸ™‚ Thank you Jo. I don’t mind football at all, but feel silly for still working for the company at this hour – grrr.
Here is the link of the hotel where I stayed (a real great value for money) http://www.hotelhomelatinparis.com/en/ I don’t know if the location would suit you – it is just off Sorbonne and 5 minutes walk or less from ND πŸ™‚

      • It looks very nice and it’s in one of the areas I was looking at. Getting quite excited! πŸ™‚ I’m reading the Rough Guide to Paris and I think I need 3 weeks to do it my way, but 5 nights will have to do πŸ™‚

        • This is not your first time in Paris, right? We were there for a week, but I like taking things slowly and soak in the atmosphere. Next time I am there I would like to visit Versailles (just for curiosity), and Saint-Denis and take a TGV to Amiens (cause of the cathedral), then there is Rodin Museum. On my last visit I just got into Medieval Art museum, cause there were lines everywhere and the weather was just too nice to be queuing πŸ˜€

          • Aged 20 and 5 months pregnant I visited Paris for 2 or 3 nights- I can’t even remember! Versailles is a must and must be at the weekend, when the fountains are playing. Giverny too, probably on our anniversary,12th. I had to lure my garden designer husband there somehow. Other than feminine wiles πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

    • P.S. I don’t think these were edible either, but they are about centimeter tall so they would not make for a substantial snack after all πŸ™‚

  5. Beautiful Paula. You had to get really low down for this one making this shot just gorgeous! I was doing something similar a few weeks back, photographing some interesting things in an open field which was attracting lots of people curious as to what I was doing for so long. Have a great night!

    • Hello Mark πŸ™‚ You are right – I almost twisted my neck in the process. These are tiny mushrooms – 1 to 1.5 cm, but I had fun. It’s always a pleasure to see you at my place. Thank you..
