Looking for meanings in words, images and sounds
This is my entry for weekly photo challenge: new.
Such an amazing image…Love the music.
Thank you very much, Charlie. I would visit you often, but it is not easy to access your page. Have a happy new year!
Once again you have created such a beautiful mood with your choice of photo, combined with music, Paula. A great shot to begin this year with!
PS: Congrats on the new lense – I am sure it will come in handy often! 😉
Hello Ese 🙂 it is hubby’s new prime 400 mm lens from 1950’s or 60’s Mamiya. Rest assured I will not use it that often :D. Happy to see you my dear xx
Everything new comes from something old ;), and the result is lovely!
Thank you, Paula – always a pleasure to see you and your original&inspiring ideas. Hugs
It must be heavy.
Yes, I would never carry it or use it unless it’s on a tripod. It was cool to take a photo of the Moon.
Very nice. Astronomical photography is something I would like to do also, and I really like the music you added. I tried inserting a music bar like yours the other day, but WordPress didn’t let me, I don’t know if these music bars require a different subscription or an upgrade? Well, anyway, thanks for sharing this, very beautiful and inspiring.
Hi Maria, I have to pay for the space upgrade to be able to insert music from my music library (about $20 a year). The other way is to enclose links from soundcloud or some other site. let me know if you need my help 🙂
Beautiful photo as always, combined with Alexandre Desplat (I absolutely adore his music)?!? Fantastic!
You’ve recognised the music, Amanda 🙂 Big hugs to you 🙂 Thank you!
Wow Paula, I’m sure you had fun taking this, the detail is superb. Hope you get to use the lens again!
I don’t know for what :S. If I lived in Florida I would hide in some bush with this lens on a tripod hoping to capture an alligator, but here I can only hope to capture the Moon from time to time 😉
But the moon has so many beautiful phases . . . you should see my absolutely wobbly awful moon shots 😦
Actually, you will never have to worry about seeing them, the delete button is my friend. 🙂
Ah, Patty you have the sensibility any artist would kill for, you should not worry about such things. I am not a street person like you are. Except for my travels, my wanderings are limited to trips to office and back home. Hence my exploration of out of window photography, or even better my inside macro shots 🙂
If I were a wolf then I’d howl at the moon now… 😀
Probably the moon isn’t new when it pops up almost every night, but only newborn – but it doesn’t matter at all, it is fascinating nonetheless… 😀
Very well captured, inspiring idea… 🙂
Takk Drake 😉 I don’t mind howling drakes 😀

All’inizio , prima di sentire la colonna sonora , anche a me era venuto in mente un lupo…….
Poi sono solo rimasta ammirata dalla tua foto e dalla tua musica!
So che ti piace la luna 🙂
Tell us more about the old, but newly acquired lens! “We” are curious!
Brilliant moon photo. With my lens the moon just turns into a small pixel fart.
I’ll email you details 🙂
Lovely tranquil music, Paula! The new year agrees with you 🙂 I hope it stays this way.
Good Friday night to you, Jo.
And to you, Paula 🙂 Early night maybe.
the moon is always such an inspiration…
Won’t argue with that 🙂 Merci Juls
The moon in this photograph looks like it’s own little constellation. Very nice shot!
Very kind of you to say so, Elisa. I appreciate it 🙂
A fabulous photo, Paula, and lovely music! 🙂
Thank you very much, Linda. 🙂
Happy New Year, Paula! Nice shot, and isn’t it great to get new glass?!!!
It is always great! 🙂 A very happy year to you, Allan 🙂
Wonderful – and the exposure is spot-on. Very nice.
🙂 Ciao Alessandro

Awesome moon!! The details are amazing! Happy 2015 🙂
Best wishes to you Veronica. And thank you 🙂
Everyone else has said it all! I’m glad to be embarking on 2015 with you. I like the rigour, unexpectedness, regularity and creativity of your postings. Fare well through the year.
And I hope you will be faring well too to all the places in your itinerary. Take care, Meg….
This is simply beautiful. And the music is a perfect accompaniment. You have a real talent in choosing a matching soundtrack.
🙂 Thank you 🙂 That’s Alexandre Desplat’s New Moon 🙂
I am not familiar with Alexandre Desplat – but it went so well with this wonderful image of the half moon ❤ – and cheers to 2015! 💫💫💫
How do you do these star emoticons? Where do you find them? 😀
well I just cut and paste them when I see them being used – called the chat and paste technology – lol – so I am sorry but I do not really know the shorthand for them or the list – but I heard that they are the same as used on twitter….
and here are other ones i cut and copied – lol
and from Pomme
🙂 Lovely 😀
🙂 How are you, Lumar?
Happy New Year to you Paula! Very nice music selection to go with your image. I was hoping to post during my time off but time got away from me, hoping to do so next weekend. Looking forward to seeing more beautiful images paired with some great music from you this year.
Happy New Year, Mark. I hope to see your new photos soon 🙂
Very nicely done, Paula. The details have come out so well.
