An attempt to convey meanings through words, images and sounds
WOW!!! I love it!!!
🙂 Many thanks, Rachel.
interesting colours, kaleidoscopic
And more people think like you 🙂 Thank you very much.
An amazing photo, Paula. It does look like a kaleidoscope! 🙂
I did not think about kaleidoscope, but I like your comparison Linda 🙂

Great symmetry, paula. We love it! 🙂
Happy to see you here Hanne 🙂 Glad you guys like it 😀
almost looking at a kaleidoscope great!!!
Brilliant symmetric shot Paula!
I have a confession to make… despite of making it a fake HDR I had to cut it in half and copy the better exposed half. In other words – the left side is the real one and the right side is the copied flipped left side.

Much obliged 😀
Wow.. this is super gorgeous entry for this week’s challenge 🙂
Great picture Paula 🙂
Thank you, Jithin. In my reply to Cardinal you can see how I did it 😉
Sure will check it 🙂
Very nice and the exposure great!
Thank you, Maria. The exposure got better with the mirror image 😉
Bella la tua spiegazione su come hai elaborato la foto!
Geniale? Io? I wish… I have done it once before on the ceiling of teatro Olimpico in Vicenza 😉
Where was the original left side taken? It appears modern, but with Gothic flare.
In Frankfurt cathedral
niiice. i am wondering…would you care… to share… the secret of… i don’t know how to call it. the square i guess. you split it in half because one half was better exposed. but had the both halves been equally well exposed you wouldn’t have to ‘copy/paste’ one half. how do you get the effect of 4 walls ( or in some photos that i saw – 4 buildings) around photographer (in a way). i don’t know if the question makes sense?
I am sorry it is probably my earache but I don’t know what you are asking. It is not the question of exposure only. Hardly any place or object is perfectly symmetrical on its own.
😉 don’t worry, i’ll find examples to show. in the meantime take care. what on earth did you do to get an earache?
Fantastic image — and great submission for the challenge 🙂
Many thanks, Lola Jane 🙂
Extraordinary shot, Paula. It almost has a vegetal feel, as if the columns are growing like rainforest trees all in a rush 🙂
Amazing photo. Love the lines and colours in this.
I’m glad you like it Raewyn 🙂
🙂 Happy to hear your input, Cee. Thank you very much.
Spectacular symmetry and detail Paula!
Thank you, Patti. I helped it a bit 😉
excellent photo and of course the symmetry of the cathedral is such an architectural success.
Oh – I just read how you did it – very clever and very slack of me not to read the other comments before I posted mine.
🙂 Happy to read you Suzanne
Immensely pleasing. I spent some time gazing at it. Where is it?
I put in tags: Frankfurt Cathedral. Thank you, Hilary
i got dizzy looking up. lol
I don’t blame you 😀
But very spectacular.
High impact symmetry
I’m really glad you like it Scott
Wow that is stunning and like others it immediately made me think of a kaleidoscope.
Cheers Sue 🙂
Symmetry on so many levels! This photo is full of happiness 😉
What a great comment! Thank you so much 🙂
😉 Thank you for your follow today on Forest Garden. Best wishes, WG
Perfection again – on all dimensions of perfection!
An incredible shot. Just wonderful Paula.
I had a feeling you would like it 🙂
It is really good.
Did you mirror it – or manage to get the symmetry in one shot?
I mirrored it 😀
Wow! Where did you take this? This place looks really interesting.
In Frankfurt Cathedral 🙂
Cool! A reason to put Frankfurt on my bucket list =)

Well selected contribution.

Gorgeous! Looking so surreal…precise to the tiniest detail! In the first moment I had the feeling of looking in kaleidoscope where the pattern would change the moment I would blink 🙂
Thank you kindly Ese. It is always nice to read you. Funny, several people mentioned kaleidoscope effect and I can see it now though I wasn’t aware of it earlier.
Excellent image, Paula. Love those long windows.. You did a great job, and the music really fits. 🙂
No weird effects on your eyes this time?
Haha. Not this time. 🙂
A truly memorable photo Paula. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Thank you Andrew 🙂
Beautiful colour, light and love the architecture in this building.
🙂 Thank you.
And what a response it is, Paula! Absolutely stunning shot! I am in awe. 🙂
Take care of yourself!
I am glad you have stumbled on this one Jo. Thank you.

De nada Paula.
Espero que esteja tudo bem.
It seems that we had similar motives in mind 🙂 Thank you DuneLight.
I’m feeling dizzy. 🙂
