Looking for meanings in words, images and sounds
Beautiful scenery. I’m looking forward to see more!
Yeah, but do you like the photo? 😀 😉
Yes I do, but that little bright part above the water almost makes it look like the photo is tilting.
Well noted…. I was concerned about that, but I think the horizon is straight. I appreciate the feedback, Max.
Welcome home! Beautiful photo. Love the rays of light on the water and the cliffs especially! Quite a scene! 🙂
How are you, Linda? How is hubby?
I’m good, Paula. We will know the outcome of his treatments in about three months. Thanks so much for asking and for your thoughtfulness! Hugs! 😀
Eu conheco Cabo da Roca!
Love the photo and wait for more!
I made a mistake in my tags (this is Boca do Inferno) I corrected it now. Ciao Anna!
Love the movement of light. I, too, have just come back and it always needs a moment of adjustment.
Hello Hilary! Where have you been?
Welcome back. I’m glad the holiday was one you wen’t eager to return from. My inbox is lonely without you!
The photo? A delight of composition (the compositional surprise of the viewing platform) and light (God’s fingers, and the path of brightness along the sea.)
God’s fingers most definitely 🙂 Thank you Meg. This place would be lonely without you (I mean it!) Where are you now?
Warsaw, till June 12th.
in the background accompanies the music as a good fit for what you put photos
You can count on that (always) 🙂 Thank you for your visit. What’s your name?

And it is good and thanks and my name is Luke
Muito obrigada 🙂
What a wonderful sight. Bet the sounds and smells were delightful.
The sound was of screaming seagulls, and the smell was of ocean.. which is pretty nice.
Welcome back! That is an absolutely stunning photo!
🙂 Many thanks, Sue. It feels good to be back. The trip was wonderful, but the flight home exhausting.
Thank you, Raewyn 🙂 The view took my breath away.

I love the duality in the signal of the photo – left side with openness and opportunities – right side with constricts obstacles or challenges – wonderful landscape/seascape – excellent work in my eyes… 🙂
Boy, I am a greater genius than I have thought 😀 😉 Thanks a lot, Drake. I know what you mean and the photo is full of dualism 🙂
This is stunning Paula. I am so glad you had a wonderful trip and I’m looking forward to seeing and hearing more.
It certainly looks like a dream come true.
🙂 it was a very eventful trip 😀 Thank you very much, Debbie.
Bem vinda querida Paula!

What a lovely place !!
Hello Andy 🙂 I posted the photo when I came home from the trip. I am never on my blog when on holidays. Thank your for the lovely comment, lovely 🙂
If Cardinal hadn’t pointed it out I never would have noticed. I love it- of course! Welcome home hugs 🙂
Wow. Looking forward to your photos, Paula. Get some rest.
I will. Thank you, Draco 🙂
Such a beautiful photo. It looks so warm and relaxing
🙂 Ocean 🙂 I knew you would appreciate the beauty of it. Thanks, Suzanne.
That beam of light on the sea is glorious and the terrace like the prow of a boat, taking you out there. Hope you had a very excellent trip, Paula.
Thank you dear Tish. It was exciting and eventful, but I am glad to be home. It takes time to get things done, now. I’ll be with you shortly. As always I am so very happy to see you, and to hear you 🙂
Beautiful shot… Looking forward to seeing the rest.
It must be one of the most beautiful countries….
What an impressive coastline with that beautiful sea and sky, looks as though you are about to sail off into this sunset. Great shot Paula!
Very kind of you, Patti. I wish I could have stayed there longer. Strange how we value memories. That visit lasted less than half an hour, and yet it will stay in my memory (hopefully) for good.
Quality always trumps quantity. So pleased you had such a wonderful time Paula!
Beautiful scenery. Is it Portugal? If so I’m putting it on my list to visit.
Hello Irene 🙂 Yes, it is Portugal – the spot is called “Boca do Inferno” – hell’s mouth
Thanks. I’ve put it on my list of places to visit.
And you come back with an image that has all the qualities of a beautiful dream 🙂 It’s peaceful, serene, undisturbed…I like how that person is looking out over the ocean, as if standing in awe before the majesty of nature …or perhaps wondering how far is the horizon? 🙂 It’s beautiful, Paula.
🙂 It’s so good to read you, Uday. This trip has been furthest from home so far. I loved it even when I did not enjoy it 😀
Les meilleures choses ont une fin. Frédéric Mey. Les musiciens.
