🙂 I don’t know about the photo, but it took some preliminary work, making of a beach, placing the shells, umbrella, gluing two shells together and finding a pearl 😀
Excellent work on the photo and also the preliminary work. Splendid!
Great lighting as well: you’ve created the impression of strong sunlight. Very good Paula.
🙂 really appreciate it, Max. I thought I could use the sand and shells I brought home from Corsica in 2013. The stuff smelled really nasty when I opened the bottle 😀
The light reflecting in the pearl too, it’s perfect.
I can imagine it was smelly! This summer, when we were hiking in the mountains, we refilled our water bottles with fresh mountain water. One of the bottles with water were left on my kitchen sink for a couple of months afterwards and the water became stale. When I emptied it in the sink, the smell almost knocked me out!
I’ll be damned. I would never expect it from the spring water 😀
Me neither, but it’s because one of the French women filled her bottle in a creek that was way down in a valley. She didn’t know that you shouldn’t fill water there, only when you’re higher up in the mountains, because down in the valley the temperature is much warmer and the water can be contaminated.
I realized you’ve worked a lot to obtain such an inspiring scenography….and appreciate your poetic composition!
🙂 grazie, Anna. Sono molto contenta che ti piace.
I thought you just stumbled across it!
😆 no such luck
I agree. Being on the beach is always magic.
Depends on the view and the finds.

I love this! Great shot! 😀
Well created, Paula!!
Very happy you like it, Sue 🙂
Welcome to miniature land, Paula! This is the first photo in this style I see from you (may be my fault) – and it is perfect! It is also good to see something like this can work without miniature People or toy animals, which again is inspiring! …and a nice take on the theme.
No, it is not the first :D, but thank you very much, Tobias.
Looks like I missed something then. Pity! 😉

It made me smile Paula. A teeny tiny little paradise.
I’m going to pretend I didn’t see your reply to sanfermo, because this is really, really magic to me!
Your comment made me smile, Gilly 🙂 and it has been a rare occurrence lately. Thank you 🙂
Cute magic… 🙂
