🙂 🙂 Happy you like my flame, Sylvia. xx
Gorgeous Paula. So simple and yet so filled with beauty. Sending happy wishes your way for the holiday season and always.
That just warms my heart, Sue. Thank you so much. I wish you the warmth this season and the well being for your and your dearest people.
2017 already!! I hope your busyness is pleasure and that the Christmas season and the new year give you happiness and all you can wish for. And for me? More and more of your wonderful photos. This one is a perfect end to the year, especially the balance and those circles. It’s nice to end the year with your signature flame.

🙂 This is the last monochrome one, but I hope to bring you some smiles with a few in colour still 😉 Please be around, there will be some “easy challenges” the last two weeks in December.
Love the simplicity of this, Paula!

I’m very glad to know that, Sue 🙂
Funny but I never think of candles as artificial light, though they are, of course. Beautifully illustrated, Paula, and that rendition of Sound of Silence is wonderful. Wishing you a joyful Christmas season and hoping you achieve all that you need to. Sending hugs 🙂 🙂
Thank you, Jo. I love light in whatever form I may find it, and if not, I have to create some myself 😉 Simon and Garfunkel are my favourite musical duo, and I was really surprised how much I preferred this rendition by Nouela.
I’m seconding Jo on all points, Paula. Such a great image – so many shades around the flame.
Thank you, Tish.
…and I agree with both, Jo and Tish…
Love this , Paula , so perfect for the season, too!
El bokeh que lograste e espectacular.
Saludos, Pablo. Te visitare pronto, estare muy ocupada la semana que viene, despues entonces.
No hay afán. Que tengas una buena semana y puedas hacer todo lo que tienes pendiente.
Igual y muchas gracias Pablo, abrazos.
Parece que tu blog ya no existe 😦
No puede ser. Hay gente que me ha dicho eso y otros que me dicen que si existe. ¿Puedes probar otra vez y contarme? Acabo de hacer una modificación.

Love your candle 🙂 I would never have thought of that as artificial light, but of course, it is.
Imagine this! I’m actually posting to your Sunday B&W Challenge on SUNDAY!

Thank you 🙂

Thank you very much, Max. Lovely to have your entry.
Fabulous shot Paula!
Cheers, Patti 🙂
We are using a lot of artificial light today Paula. It is grey and snowing outside.
Hope you get everything done next week so that you can get ready for Christmas.
I can’t rely on natural light at all this year, not at work, not at home. This year Christmas falls on a Sunday and the same goes for the New Year. I don’t get any holidays. Still too much work these weeks so I have to skip a week on blog.
Love the candle Paula. You are an inspiration with all your energy.
Bonne semaine, malgré le “stress”.
Je te remercie B, et desolee de n’avoir pas du temps de te visiter. A plus tard e beijos.

I recall a few other flame photos over the last couple of years..you are drawn to the fire. Your shots are always a pleasure to look at. Have a great Christmas/holiday.
Thank you, Mark. All the best to you 🙂
Hello darkness… my only friend…
Do you like this cover of the song? 🙂
This voice is beautiful. I don’t like it like I like the Simon & Garfunkel version. I like this one differently. This one sounds fresh. It’s like her melancholy is like that of a clear mirror in a yellow evening.
You are very wordy. I like it.
Actually the yellow evening is also cool somehow… It is like near the ocean.
Does the voice have a name?
