For the Pick a Word challenge in February I chose five unrelated words and five unrelated images that cover different seasons, places and subjects. As usual you are free to choose one of the 5 offered words, and depict it in a photograph or you can do more than one word and post more than one photograph, or you may choose all of the words and depict them in a single image. Possibilities abound. Now, here are the words to choose from:
A gorgeous selection – thanks for cheering us all up Paula.
The arboreal one wins for me, but I do like your red onion. Not something I’ve ever taken a photo of!
Each one is worth a post in itself, Paula. Arboreal is totally beguiling and your frontal is an amazing capture. 🙂 How do you choose your words? The photos speak of many happy hours.
As Meg says, you have excelled yourself, Paula. Each photograph is striking in its own way. Frontal is marvelous.Prompted a sharp intake of breath at the way you captured the moment.
Good choice with Hey Brother, always puts me in a good mood… 😉
Also beautiful pictures. My favourite are the “frontal” and the “remote”. Did you take the last pic in the Alps?
Bonito post, gracias!
Hi Paula, hope you had a great entry to the New Year. Your photos for the words are great. Can’t pick a favourite but love that duck. As usual you have picked a wonderful mix of words to play with. For probably the first time I am using one photo. https://irenewaters19.com/2017/02/02/one-photo-5-words-thursdays-special/
Great pictures. Catching that goose in flight from straight on is remarkably. And I love your radiant building. i like them all, but I have those two as favorites
My research came up with the phrase “tree like” when I explored “arboreal’…decided to edit an image I have of a tree. Thanks for this challenge as it offered me a road away from the insanity that is overwhelming the political landscape as well as the dreariness of winter.
I know how you feel Brenda, cause I feel the political insanity and winter as well. I am hope that in some light, virtual way I can be part of the creative piece of your world. Thank you for joining me.
Frontal is fab and if you squint it looks like the bird is looking directly at you. And to capture the splayed feathers on the bird’s left wing – smashing!
I’ve done my first Paula, remote! My favourite of yours is arboreal – you’ve got a ginkgo leaf and that’s my favourite tree 🙂 https://lucidgypsy.com/2017/02/06/remote-ghana/ Have a lovely week!
well the first one is such a unique shot – the light you captured and all those windows remind me of a mirrored mosaic…
the frontal one made me smile – and what a unique capture – oh and the onion looks like art… this would make a nice print for the kitchen – 🙂
challenge relevé avec brio ! très bon choix Paula
