Curves are nice, attractive and fun, aren’t they? I love them too, especially in nature. This image comes from Croatian National Park – Plitvice Lakes. If you want to visit it, just follow the snake.
Superlative – both photo and place. Have you been there recently. I loved my two or three days there. You seem determined to make me relive lovely times in Croatia.
I have always wanted to see them, Paula. A good friend returned from Croatia a couple of weeks ago and she had added Krka Falls to these. I would be very happy with either. Hoping your weekend brings you joy and much needed peace. I will be in Nottingham with my daughter. Take care! 🙂 🙂
I’m home now and your shot is really striking on a proper screen. I love it even more now.
And I struggled a bit with this one. I have a lake that was named for its curves, but isn’t as curvy as it name suggests! So I’m more at the c-curve rather than the s-curve! https://travelwithintent.com/2017/06/15/serpentine-hyde-park-bend/
What an absolutely idyllic spot you’ve captured. Is this a place for swimming? The colour of the water looks so inviting.
I struggled to find S curves so imagination is necessary with mine today https://irenewaters19.com/2017/06/15/s-curve-thursdays-special/
I would only be able to visit then in spring or autumn (I presume it probably freezes over in winter) as the water looks far too inviting.
It was amazing the amount of backwards S’s I have photographed. Birds always seem to face the wrong direction but as usual it was a lot of fun and a great challenge.
Wow! Looks beautiful. Love the boardwalk and love the colour of the water, very much like Vintgar Gorge in Slovenia. I shall go looking for some S-curves for you.
I did it…a “s-curve” COLOR photo for Thursday’s Special! I spent yesterday looking for s-curves in the landscape when I suddenly walked by two ducks spending their early evening in a field of dandelions…I see a “s” in his profile.
what a view Paula!Where were you when you took the photo? It is beautiful. Will have to look for some curves!

It is, absolutely, when you are not pushed around by other visitors- It tends to get very crowded in summer.

Lovely view, Paula! As for the S-curve, it’s most useful to bring about a bit of contrast to your images in post-processing!!
